It should have been one of the best nights of her life but a model's date with a BBC star ended in a horrific sex assault, it was claimed last night.
In the second serious allegation against the celebrity in days, the woman said he and his showbiz mate got her drunk before violently attacking her in a hotel room.
She claimed the TV presenter watched as the other man raped her. He then forced her to carry out a sordid sex act on him.
Days ago we revealed the same star tried to rape dancer Paula Hopwood.
Speaking for the first time about the 1988 assault, the traumatised former model who does not want to be named said: "He deserves to be exposed.
"The moment I met the two men I told them I didn't want to have sex with them. But they intentionally got me drunk.
"I've always thought I was drugged because I've never felt like that in my entire life. They took advantage of me."
The woman, now 50, was introduced to the celebrity after meeting his showbusiness friend at a charity function in St Helens, Merseyside.
She said: "I was working as an accountant and my boss was doing a football charity event at a hotel.
"I was running the raffle and I got talking to the friend.
"He asked for my number and after three days he rang me.
"He was gushing about his showbiz pal, describing him as one of the biggest names in entertainment.
"He then said that his friend had asked if I wanted to see his show so I jumped at the chance.
"He arranged to pick me up in his car and we travelled to see the performance together."
The first thing the former BBC star said to her when she arrived at the hotel where he was staying with his friend was a joke about the wig she was wearing.
The three of them went to his show together at a sports hall near to the Midlands hotel and afterwards they all went to an Indian restaurant for a curry.
It was there she said she was apparently "plied" with Bacardi and Coke by the two men, who she believes were intentionally trying to get her drunk.
She said: "I remember thinking what a two-faced so and so he was, because he was so polite to the staff.
"They were just trying to ply me with drinks. The BBC star's friend was a big man. I know I could have said no to the drinks, but I felt very pressured by them.
"There was a point where I just didn't know where I was. I was in an area I didn't know."
Around 11.30pm they headed back to the hotel where the alleged sex attack took place.
She said: "When we were back in the hotel room it all gets very hazy but I get flashbacks.
"I remember seeing them stark naked and the BBC star's friend was very aggressive in his tone.
"He was shouting quite loudly at one point. He then took hold of me and got on top. I felt so helpless. I was terrified.
"At one point the BBC star held my head as the other guy was on top of me."
The woman says she was then forced to perform a sex act on the presenter with the other man still in the room.
"The room had two single beds and I woke up with the big man hugging me from behind," she said.
"At first I had no idea what had happened, but I was shocked because I was completely naked.
"I thought I'd gone to sleep with my clothes on.
"Then the BBC star said to me that morning, 'Why do women mess with their hair in the morning, because they haven't got any balls to scratch?'.
"He was still trying to be funny. I left the room and went back home and ran the bath and got in.
"I lay in the bath for ages just thinking to myself, 'what on earth just happened?'.
"I rang the BBC man a few days later because I was upset and he hung up on me.
"He said, 'Sorry love, can't help you' and hung the phone up. He was awful."
It took her another four years to gather the courage to approach the police and report it in 1992.
She said she gave a statement to the police, who investigated the incident but no charges were brought due to lack of evidence.
The part-time model, from Cheshire, then reported it again several years later but once again no action was taken.
On Sunday, we revealed Paula Hopwood, from Liverpool, reported the same man to police and detectives are expected to approach the star for questioning in the next few days.
She said: "He tried to rape me.... the most horrible person.
"He believed he was almighty, untouchable. But I've had to live with what he did and always will."
Paula, who was on tour with the star at the time of the alleged attack, claims the presenter would offer girls his gold watch to look after and he believed if they accepted it they were consenting to sex.
Paula, now 48, said he pushed her on to the floor of her hotel.
He groped her before someone knocked on the door and he was scared off.
Speaking in relation to Paula's allegation, Merseyside Police said: "An allegation of an historic sexual assault has been received and inquiries are being made."
Her claim came as police investigating Jimmy Savile yesterday revealed they are set to quiz up to 12 celebrities over alleged sex attacks in the next few days.
Scotland Yard Commander Peter Spindler, who is leading the probe into abuse allegations against Savile and others, has warned alleged culprits: "We will come for you."
Detectives are now "developing an arrest strategy" but have yet to quiz them under caution.
Other stars who appeared on the BBC are understood to be among suspects.
George Entwistle, the BBC's director-general, told MPs on Tuesday between eight and 10 former and current BBC staff and contributors had been named as alleged sexual abusers.
